In a bizarre collaboration that breaks usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized statement, "A strange meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of prohibited rituals and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The storyline presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret cult.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Transformations

The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Additional Content

Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an special katana alongside multiple items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
